Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how ORSA SRL ("Ntmate", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects your information when you use the Ntmate mobile application (the "App"). By using the App you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Ntmate is intended only for adults aged 18 or over.

1. Who we are

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

Account information: email address and password, or the basic profile information provided by Google or Apple when you sign in with them (name, email address).
Profile information: display name, bio, gender, date of birth, photos, the distance and age range you are looking for, and who you want to meet.
Preferences and intimate preferences: the partner and personal preferences, sexual positions and sexual practices you choose during profile setup. This information may reveal details about your sex life or sexual orientation, which is considered sensitive ("special category") data. We process it only with your explicit consent, which you give by entering it, and only to calculate compatibility and suggest matches.
Messages and content: chat messages, photos and files you send to your matches.
Reports and feedback: information you provide when you report a user, contact support or send feedback.

Information collected automatically

Location: with your permission, your device's precise location, used to find matches within your chosen distance. Other users can see an approximate distance, never your exact location.
Activity: your likes, passes, favourites, matches, blocks and the profiles you have seen.
Device information: device model, operating system and version, app version, language, and a push notification token.
Diagnostics: crash reports and performance data (via Firebase Crashlytics).

Purchase information

If you buy a subscription, the payment is handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not receive your card details. We receive a transaction confirmation (product, transaction ID, date and status) so we can activate your subscription.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to:

Create and manage your account and profile.
Show you potential matches and calculate compatibility, based on your preferences, age range and location.
Allow you to chat with your matches and send you notifications (new matches, likes, messages).
Provide and manage subscriptions (Free, Platinum, Gold) and the features they include.
Keep Ntmate safe: detect fraud, spam and abuse, review reports, and enforce our Terms of Use.
Fix bugs, analyse crashes and improve the App.
Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

Legal bases (EU/EEA/UK users): performance of our contract with you (items 1–4), your consent (sensitive preferences, location, notifications), our legitimate interests in keeping the service safe and working (items 5–6), and legal obligations (item 7). You may withdraw consent at any time in your device settings or by editing or deleting your profile.

4. What other users can see

Other users can see your public profile: display name, age, photos, bio, gender, approximate distance, and (depending on their subscription) a compatibility score. Your email address, exact location, date of birth and payment details are never shown to other users. Your messages are visible only to the person you are chatting with.

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:

Service providers that host and operate the App for us, under contracts that protect your data:
- Google Firebase (authentication, database for chat, push notifications, crash reporting, remote configuration)
- Our cloud hosting and server providers
Apple and Google to process in-app purchases and, if you choose, to sign you in.
Authorities when required by law, or to protect the safety of our users or the public.
A buyer or successor if Ntmate is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

Some of these providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where this happens we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. How long we keep your information

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your profile, photos, preferences and location within 30 days. We may keep limited information for longer where required by law (for example, transaction records for tax purposes) or to prevent fraud and repeated abuse (for example, records of accounts banned for violating our Terms).

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have the right to:

access the personal data we hold about you;
correct inaccurate data (you can edit most of your profile directly in the App);
delete your account and data (Settings → Delete Account in the App, or by emailing us);
restrict or object to certain processing;
receive your data in a portable format;
withdraw your consent at any time;
lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Belgium, the Data Protection Authority / Autorité de protection des données: www.dataprotectionauthority.be).

8. Permissions

The App asks for the following permissions only when needed. You can change them at any time in your device settings:

Location: to show matches near you.
Camera and photos: to add profile pictures and send photos in chat.
Notifications: to tell you about new matches, likes and messages.

9. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls. No system is completely secure, so please use a strong password and never share your login details.

10. Children

Ntmate is strictly for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we learn that a minor is using the App, we will delete the account. If you believe a minor is using Ntmate, please contact us.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes in the App or by email. The "Effective date" at the top shows when it was last updated.
