Community Guidelines

Effective date: 27 September 2026

Ntmate is a place for adults to meet with honesty and respect. These Guidelines explain what is and isn't allowed. They form part of our Terms of Use, and breaking them can get your account suspended or permanently banned.

Ntmate has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour.

1. Adults only — 18+

You must be at least 18 years old to use Ntmate. Any content that involves, sexualises or targets a minor in any way is strictly forbidden. It will lead to an immediate permanent ban and will be reported to the authorities.

2. Be yourself

  • Use your own, recent photos that clearly show you.
  • Give accurate information about your age, gender and who you are.
  • One person, one account. Don't impersonate anyone, create fake profiles or share your account.
  • Don't use photos of celebrities, other people, or AI-generated images pretending to be you.

Everyone deserves respect, whether you are interested in them or not.

  • Consent comes first. Never send sexual messages, photos or requests to someone who has not clearly said they want them. "No", silence, or unmatching means no.
  • Don't harass, insult, threaten, stalk or pressure anyone.
  • Don't keep contacting someone who has blocked or unmatched you, including on other platforms.
  • Respect people's boundaries, preferences and decisions.

4. No hate or discrimination

We don't allow content or behaviour that attacks or demeans people because of their race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age or any other personal characteristic.

5. Keep your profile appropriate

Your profile photos and bio are visible to other members. They must not contain:

  • nudity, sexual acts or explicit sexual content;
  • violence, weapons used to threaten, gore or self-harm;
  • illegal drugs or illegal activities;
  • hate symbols or offensive language;
  • other people's personal information, or your contact details or social-media handles used to advertise.

6. No commercial activity, scams or spam

Ntmate is for personal connections only. The following are forbidden:

  • prostitution, escort services, sugar-dating arrangements or any form of paid sexual services;
  • human trafficking or sexual exploitation of any kind;
  • advertising, selling products or services, or promoting other websites or apps;
  • scams, fraud, catfishing, "romance scams" and investment or crypto schemes;
  • asking members for money, gifts, bank details or financial information;
  • spam, bots or mass messaging.

Never send money to anyone you meet on Ntmate, however convincing their story. Report anyone who asks.

7. Keep private things private

  • Don't share another member's photos, messages or personal information without their permission.
  • Don't record or screenshot conversations in order to publish or threaten someone with them.
  • Don't share anyone's intimate images. Sharing intimate images without consent is a serious offence and will be reported to the authorities.

8. Stay within the law

Don't use Ntmate for anything illegal, and don't encourage others to break the law.

9. Stay safe when you meet

  • Take time to get to know someone in the app before meeting.
  • Meet for the first time in a public place and arrange your own transport.
  • Tell a friend or family member where you are going and who you are meeting.
  • Stay in control of your drinks and belongings.
  • Trust your instincts. You can leave at any time.

If you are ever in immediate danger, call your local emergency number (112 in Belgium and across the EU).

10. Block and report

If someone makes you uncomfortable or breaks these Guidelines:

  • Block them: they can no longer see your profile or contact you.
  • Report them from their profile or your chat. Reports are confidential; the person is not told who reported them.

Our team reviews reports and acts within 24 hours. Please report honestly: false or malicious reports are themselves a breach of these Guidelines.

You can also email us at support@ntmate.app.

11. What happens if the Guidelines are broken

Depending on how serious the breach is, we may:

  • remove the content;
  • send a warning;
  • temporarily suspend the account;
  • permanently ban the account and prevent new accounts from being created;
  • report the behaviour to law enforcement.

Serious breaches, such as anything involving minors, threats of violence, sexual exploitation or non-consensual intimate images, lead to an immediate permanent ban. Banned users are not entitled to a refund of any subscription.
